Giles Imrie was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006 after receiving his J.D. with a Concentration in Taxation from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. While attending law school, Giles was a member of the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society and was elected to the International Advocacy Honors Board. Giles graduated from St. Mary’s College, California in 1995 with a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration.

Mr. Imrie's practice primarily focuses on real estate, business transactions and civil litigation and frequently includes the negotiation and preparation of commercial and residential leases and lease purchase option agreements, formation of business entities, and trademark applications and disputes. Mr. Imrie has significant experience representing property owners in cases related to breach of lease or unlawful detainer disputes. In addition to real property litigation, he also contributes to the civil litigation practice groups in matters related to commercial transactions, employment law, and probate.

Prior to receiving his J.D., Giles managed network operations for a Silicon Valley network company, and also worked in the equity markets sector managing large client implementations for Reuters in San Francisco, California.

Personal: Born in South Africa and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
